My name is Branko Kukic, a retired veterinarian with over 30 years of experience working with animals. I created this website to share what I have learned from both my clients and the animals themselves. My approach

Pets, owners and environment
Besides practical experience, I consider it extremely important to observe and understand the relationship between pets and their owners, as well as to recognize the impact of the environment on the health and well-being of companion animals.

Prevention first
Preventive care has always been a priority in my practice. Accordingly, my observations have focused on identifying the underlying causes of disease and finding ways to prevent illness rather than treating it.

Learning from nature
I have been trying to understand how domestic animals, prior to domestication, naturally avoided conditions such as indigestion, ear infections, and hot spots, etc.
Start with the myths
Common pet-care habits that do more harm than good, and what to do instead.
